On behalf of the Organising Committee it is my pleasure to announce you that Registration to EMRA 2024 – Workshop on EU-funded Marine Robotics and Applications is now open at http://emra-24.marinerobotics.eu/registration/

The Tenth Anniversary edition of EMRA is organised by the Institute of marine engineering of the Italian National Research Council in Arenzano, in the mild and sunny Western Riviera of Genova, on May 27-29, 2024. As in the previous editions, this interdisciplinary Workshop will provide an excellent opportunity for networking and cross-fertilisation of ideas in marine robotics, enabling technologies and applications between a variety of stakeholders from industry, robotics and marine science research, public administrations and policy makers.

As usual the backbone of the event, in which participation and registration is free, will consist in the presentation of ongoing, or just completed, EC funded projects involving marine/maritime robotics activities, so you are strongly encouraged to contact the local members of the Organising Committee (massimo.caccia@cnr.it and marco.bibuli@cnr.it) to propose the inclusion of your project(s) in the EMRA 2024 program.

From its first edition, held in CNR headquarters in Rome in 2014, EMRA Workshop has been organised and funded by ongoing EC-funded project. At this stage, the projects organising EMRA 2024 Edition are MONUSEN, MAELSTROM, AMIS, UWIN-LABUST, and SeaTecHub, and according to the original spirit of the event the possibility of joining its organisation is open: if you are coordinating an EC-funded project and would like to contribute to EMRA 2024, please contact the local members of the Organising Committee (see before) by March 8, 2024.
